On Saturday 15th September, 2007 families from around Australia went to Varsity Lakes in Queensland for the 2007 Family Day. Val, mother of 24 year old Adrian hosted the day.

The setting was in a large hall with fenced in play equipment.

Dr. Blair gave an informative talk on some of the complications and management of pelvic/lower limb and spinal complications with Kabuki Syndrome, as well as fielding questions from parents.

The children had a great time together and parents had the opportunity to put faces to the many emails that had been shared over the last year.

A barbeque lunch was provided, and a balloon artist entertained the kids.

Getting together with families who have struggled through similar situations was comforting to all.

New friendships were made, and old friendships renewed.
